Navy challenged the cadets at West Point in 1890, and the game has since become the meeting of the two oldest service academies, played on a December weekend of its own. Players who will soon serve alongside each other stand together for both alma maters at the end, and the game settles much of the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy.
